Orchestral works, international and local soloists on Saturday evenings at 7:30pm in St. Botolph’s Church, Colchester

Welcome to another season of great music with St. Botolph’s Music Society.  After last year’s Gershwin Spectacular we were wondering what on earth to do next?  How about a trip to sunny Spain?
Our annual Hervey Benham Concert has moved to October and we have three new young performers preparing to stun us with their musical talents.
De Falla’s beautiful Night Gardens of Spain performed by Philip Smith sets the scene for our Iberian-themed Gala concert and we present local professional guitarist, Steve Smith who will perform Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez.
The season rounds off with a concert of Brahms’ music and the welcome return of some our former Hervey Benham young soloists (not so young now!) for a special memorial concert.
We look forward to welcoming you to St. Botolphs this season.
